The fourteen winner’s paintings have been created by Sarah Rus, an exceptionally gifted 17-year-old artist from Bistrița, in northern Romania. A student at the prestigious Corneliu Baba Art College, Sara was entrusted with producing the official artworks for the 2025 DISFMF Awards.
In addition to her accomplishments in the visual arts, Sara has pursued acting for the past five years at the Bistrița Film Studio. She starred as a leading character in the fantasy feature film Katharina and Sushi and has appeared in several short films, showcasing her remarkable versatility and talent.
